Holocaust Memorial Day

Remembrance, survival, and hope will be the theme of this year's Holocaust Memorial Day, which will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 in the Ballroom of the Emerson Center for the Arts. The program will feature key note speaker, Big Sky resident Jan Volavka, whose family partly survived and partly perished in the Holocaust, and who will speak about his mother's story of survival, which has been published in a prominent publication. The afternoon will also feature performances of remembrance, survival and hope by three local choral groups:
