The Gallatin County DUI Task Force meets July 16th at Bozeman’s Wilson School boardroom for the quarterly DUI Roundtable, held in conjunction with Mother's Against Drunk Driving. The DUI Task Force will cover their agenda from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, the roundtable meets from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, and MADD meets from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. The topics for the roundtable include: policy and legislative issues and opportunities; an update on the process of revamping Montana’s ACT class curriculum; the Surgeon General to visit MSU; and updates from attendees.
The quarterly DUI roundtable facilitates sharing resources by creating a forum to network around the issue of DUI prevention, education, and enforcement for the upcoming holiday season. The Gallatin County DUI Task Force is a citizens group appointed by the County Commissioners to develop and/or fund public education, awareness, and enforcement projects to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes and deaths in Gallatin County.
