The Weir is set in a small rural pub in the west of Ireland. Four friends meet on a winter's night for a drink and a chat. They are joined by a young woman from Dublin who has just bought an old house in the village. As the wind howls outside they share personal stories with a supernatural element, each of which becomes increasingly disturbing. Winner of the Lawrence Olivier BBC Award as the Best New Play of 1997 - 98 this play has been called "beautifully devious" by the New York Times. The perfect addition to your Halloween entertainment. Rated PG.
