Charles Dickins' Great Expectations

Description:
This unforgettably haunting story follows a young orphan, Pip (played by Petra 5th-grader, Oliver C.), who becomes blighted with the "great expectations" of a wealthy but eccentric patroness, Miss Havisham (Petra 9th-grader Frances C.).
At the odd home of Miss Havisham, Pip meets the cold Estella (Petra 7th-grader Elsa B.), trained by Miss Havisham to break a boys heart. Pip of course, follows the plan laid out for him by Miss Havisham and falls head-over-heals in love with Estella.
The young Pip matures to adulthood (Petra 9th-grader Tommy U.) and the young Estella does as well (10th-grader Erin D.). Pip seeks to fulfill his "great expectations" of both an elevated position in society and pursuit of his childhood love.
This will be Petra's first play performance in our own facility.
