Speaking of Seizures
5:00 PM
Eagle Mount
November is National Epilepsy Awareness month and the Bozeman Poetry Collective is producing our first annual fundraiser for Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE)! Art and awareness meet to bring epilepsy out of the dark and into the street. Speaking of Seizures will feature poetry and informational talks about epilepsy and seizure first aid. One in twenty-six people will have a seizure in their lifetime, yet research in epilepsy remains one of the least funded diseases. It is up to independent fundraisers like Speaking of Seizures to bring awareness. Please come and show your support for CURE while being entertained.

The Bozeman Poetry Collective is an active community of writers and spoken word poets in the Gallatin Valley. The collective was founded in August of 2013 and frequently hosts open mic readings and special events. Poets and enthusiasts of all disciplines and levels of experience attend these events to enjoy an open and relaxed atmosphere and to become inspired by a talented and diverse spectrum of local artists. The Bozeman Poetry Collective believes strongly in fostering creative expression and culture in the Bozeman community and beyond.
